How much to paint a car flat/matte black?

Hello, I have been seeing alot of cars coming out on show with flatte black paint. I wanted to know how much does it cost to have this done? Is the paint different and therefore more expensive? does it chip?

flat paint sprays on coarser than other types of paint. thats why it doesnt shine.its actually cheaper to do than a regular paint because it requires no after spray sanding or polishing. the drawback to a flat paint is that they are difficult to keep clean because the coarseness hides dirt. flat paint can never be waxed or polished!!!!
