Recycling Art Project Children with tin cans
Each holiday season we have a lot of delicious treats stuffed inside tin cans beautifully decorated. After quickly devoured the contents of these tin cans, we are left with empty containers. While they make good container memory for all types of small items in the home, such as vouchers, receipts, correspondence, cleaning and such, there are times I wish I could do more with them. Here's an easy project kids craft Christmas participation recycled tin cans .
Luminary Tin Bucket Recycled Art Project Children
Material:
- Empty tin buckets
- Design (simple works best here – think of the stars, trees, hearts, flowers)
- A large nail
- A hammer
- Tape
- A votive candle
Instructions for Children recycled tin pot Luminary Project Crafts
- Fill the tin cans with a little water and the freezing of water first. This will make it easier to hammer design href = "http://www.bi-star.com/bi-star-tin/"> tin cans.
- Put your design around the tin.
- Take a large nail and hammer until it punches a hole through the tin bucket. Continue to drill holes around the edge of your design. You need enough holes so you can see what is the standard, but try not to drill holes too close together.
- Once holes are drilled throughout the design, remove the paper and ribbon tin bucket.
- Wait until the ice melts. Cover with water to accelerate the melting process. Dry the metal bucket with a towel. Place a candle in the bottom of the bucket tin.
- Sit back and admire your work.
